Online Store - GuidSIGN 6.0 Online Training Course

ESSENTIALS SECTION
This course instructs users on how to create standard federal and state roadway signs using GuidSIGN. Students will learn how GuidSIGN can be utilized effectively through the use of its functions. Outline: Define the variables for specific panel styles through Program settings/ Panel Styles • Quickly generate a basic panel design • Create a sign from pre-defined MUTCD design templates • Creating and save custom templates derived from MUTCD panel styles • Placing sign dimensioning • Generating reports for production • Export sign elements into DXF file format for sign shops.

ADVANCED SECTION
The GuidSIGN Advanced module builds upon the skills learned in the Essentials. This hands-on, instructor-directed course will help students make the most of GuidSIGN. Outline: Create Multiple panels using a predefined template • Create custom elements from directional arrows to graphic back-grounds • Adjusting text alignment within the panel design • Exploring the geographic location name lookup feature • Exporting panel design into a custom library.

Certificate: A Certificate of Completion will be assigned to all registered learners who have attended and successfully completed the web-training course.

Class size: Enrollment is limited to 30 students per training session. Please plan to login 5 minutes prior to the start of class.
