Objective: This instructor-led, hands-on based course introduces users to TORUS: advanced software for modern roundabout design. The course will familiarize users with the powerful modeling and visualization capabilities of TORUS.
Outline: Setting up parameters and design guidelines for their roundabouts designs • Generating multiple roundabout design iterations • Creating vehicle sightlines and movements within the roundabout design • Generating an optimal fastest path layout • Producing fastest path reports for analysis • Creating curve tables for roundabout refinements • Creating and comparing design iterations through reports • Hands-on exercise will be provided
