As the premier geometric design solution for modern roundabouts, TORUS continues to improve by adding integration with SIDRA INTERSECTION 5.1 for vehicle capacity analysis. Users can now synchronize geometric data and import capacity analysis information such as such as fuel consumption, emission, costs, delay, capacity, speed, volume and queue into TORUS.

• Grip Point Control: The reference alignment of the approach leg can now be edited dynamically. By changing the deflection, impacts to fastest path, entry angle, and sight lines can easily be evaluated.
• Area Estimation Report: Choose different areas of the roundabout for quick cost estimations during the planning stages.
• Angle of Visibility: Check the driver’s visibility angle between two approach legs for oncoming traffic (as recommended by the TRB NCHRP Report 672).
• Full compatibility with Autodesk® AutoCAD® 2012 and Bentley® MicroStation® V8i and support for 64-bit operating systems
