ParkCAD 3.0 includes features that provide users with
superior control and flexibility to help make parking project tasks
easier. For engineers and architects, designs of initial parking
area configurations to determine feasibility and aesthetics can
be used for the final development phase.
Get it Done with ParkCAD
Quickly and easily create multiple design iterations
for parking study analyses, operational requirements for commercial
and residential use, and client review and presentations. All this
done in the fraction of the time compared to traditional CAD methods.
Integrated Reporting
Take advantage of intelligent integration of reporting functionality.
With Quantity Takeoff Reporting, lengths, areas, and quantities
for all ParkCAD objects in the design can be determined. These
objects can then have pricing assigned for Total Costs and
Costs per Stall estimates.
Accessible Parking
Design, develop, and maintain accessibility parking (including
guidelines, symbols, and vehicle classes) based on your lot's
needs. A 'Heads Up' view displays current count and percentages
of accessible stalls notifying if regulations are met. Additionally,
set and define access aisle (left, right, shared) for vehicle
loading.
Simple Site Setup
No more time wasted having to pick each individual parking
element. Just select groups of parking rows and lots to define
parking for a site and use it to calculate percentages of
accessibility parking, up-to-the second stall counts, and
Quantity Takeoff Reporting. Imagine the time savings.
Effortless Editing
These powerful editing features reduce the downtime of having
to manually update new design changes to the existing parking
layout. The Update Lot feature allows exiting lots to be resized
to meet adjusted boundaries while retaining prior customization.
As well, excess drive aisle space can be distributed evenly
between rows.
Parking Exclusion Areas
Design parking space where you need it. Select and edit geometric
shapes within or across the lot where parking should not be
generated. Exclusion areas can be used for structures (buildings,
light standards, additional mid-island shapes) and for iterations
of drive aisle and entrance placement.
User-Defined Stalls
Easily define and uniquely mark each types of specialized
parking stalls (i.e. courtesy parking, police, taxi/bus stands,
shopping cart returns etc), with either default or customized
symbols. These stalls are reported separately from standard
stalls for quick site assessments.
