BCIT students learn TORUS and NEXUS

Nov 24, 2017

Transoft’s partnership with British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT) continues to flourish. Daniel Shihundu, VP Design Business Unit, recently gave a lecture to 70 civil engineering students during their two-hour Road Design Course (CIVL 3050), covering the fundamentals of intersection and roundabout design. Next week, the students will have hands-on design exercises to redesign the intersection at Canada Way and Beta Avenue in Burnaby, BC using TORUS roundabouts and NEXUS intersections software. These partnerships with educational institutions are great on so many levels. Transoft is playing an important role in the industry and is also giving back by teaching future students to Design with Confidence
