Dear Friends,

Stop for a moment and consider our fascination with the Gregorian calendar – or should I say the date December 31st – a time of year that makes us stop and take stock of our lives or ponder the outcomes we would like to see for ourselves. A similar but more formal planning occurs at a corporate level especially for companies whose fiscal year begins on January 1st. It becomes a natural time to implement annual plans and commitments to deliver the desired results, financially and operationally.

2016 was definitely one for the books filled with milestones and accomplishments. We celebrated our 25th birthday last year and in true Transoft fashion, we brought our people together from all corners of the world for a company-wide retreat set within the beautiful backcountry of BC’s Okanagan Valley. 2016 also brought about great changes with the introduction of business units to enhance our level of support for industry verticals. We also underwent a major facelift, introducing a new corporate logo, brand identities, and new website to reflect the evolution of our company. 2016 saw the acquisition of ArcPORT – the leading solution for simulating and evaluating airport terminal, airside and landside processes and systems. The year also included an expansion of our global operations with the addition of offices in India and Germany. In short 2016 was a busy year.

And so we’re set to start anew for 2017.

For us at Transoft, this year will be yet another one filled with exciting announcements and advancements. Here’s just a few of things you’ll see throughout the year:

• We will be launching AutoTURN Online bringing our time-trusted flagship software to the cloud and available to a wider audience of users
• We expect to continue the strong growth of our aviation business through the development of exciting new ArcPORT modules and upgrades to AviPLAN – the industry standard for gate planning and aircraft parking
• Watch for exciting upgrades to our GuideSIGN, ParkCAD and our ROAD and SITE CEM products
• Expanding our operations through new offices in Germany and Shanghai to better serve growing demand for our solutions
• Expanding our team by over 10% as we continue to deliver quality products and best-in-class customer service
• Aside from business related activities, we will continue to focus on our global charity and educational initiatives. Over the next three years, we are committed to building a $1m Transoft
• Foundation Fund, supporting educational scholarships at numerous engineering organizations, and supporting various food banks.

Today Transoft is comprised of over 35 nationalities spread throughout six offices across the globe. Embracing this diversity is an important component of our corporate culture and for 2017, we intend to keep the international bond strong through virtual events.
