We currently have an opening for a Customer Engagement Manager at our head office in Richmond, BC.



Expanding our influence and geographic reach, the Customer Engagement Manager will be responsible for developing a network of brand champions that will facilitate sales opportunities, build partnerships with educational institutions, and promote the Transoft brand as thought leaders in transportation engineering software.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and cultivate a network of product “ambassadors” or “Brand Champions” in targeted geographic regions who, under your leadership, will:
    –   engage with local customers and prospects to provide product training and demonstrations.
    –   provide product feedback and identify opportunities to improve, enhance or introduce new products.
    –   assist with software beta testing programs.
    –   gather customer testimonials for Transoft’s marketing team.
    –   contribute content to assist with social media and marketing programs.
    –   assist in creating content for marketing and sales.
  • Further to the creation of a robust network of “Brand Champions”, the incumbent will:
    –    create and sustain a robust customer engagement mechanism.
    –    liaise with peers within Transoft’s business units, marketing, sales and product development  teams, acting as the key intermediary and voice of the community.
    –    gather and share feedback collected through our community:

    • to help business units and product development teams make informed decisions about future software improvements and innovations.
    • to augment Transoft’s corporate marketing, product marketing, and sales programs.
    • to continually maintain our position as leaders in offering best-in-class customer service.

    –    corral customer feedback and shape it into business cases for new development opportunities
    –    identify leads for customer success stories to assist with marketing.
    –    explore opportunities to partner with educational institutes to promote advocacy of our  software to shape product developments.

You can comprehend the vision, develop the building blocks and execute on the details that will get us to meet our short and long term strategic plans.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Minimum: Bachelors in science, marketing, business administration, or relevant field required. Experience/education related to civil or transportation engineering is a strong asset.
  • 5+ years of experience, preferably in a technical industry and in a B2B environment.
  • You have a proven track record in developing and nurturing a highly engaged community
  • Experience with engineering software, is a bonus.

  • You are able to travel within North America (up to 25% in a year.)
