ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

We currently have an opening for a Program Manager at our Transportation Safety Office in Waterloo, Ontario. As an integral member of our team, the Program Manager works to identify the needs of clients, the scope of projects, and to ensure a high-quality standard is met on the delivery of projects across the Transportation Safety Business Unit.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Work with both our teams and clients to measure and quantify the needs, expectations, scope, cost, and requirements of projects.
• Define streamlined procedures and processes for project delivery – and ensure that they are followed by teams.
• Work across both teams and clients to ensure teams understand the big-picture requirements and scheduling of projects.
• Deliver reports, proposals, and other technical reports periodically.

ABOUT YOU

You have the experience, drive, and creativity to deliver quality transportation safety projects for a clientele of civil engineers. You have practical knowledge of the strategic deployment of programs – facilitating the understanding and delivery of client needs. You want to work across teams with a dedicated group of professionals to facilitate efficient delivery – and get on board with a fast growing, leading edge, and competitive software company.

Experience and Qualifications:

• You possess a bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Civil Engineering (transportation), Software Engineering, or a related technical degree – or the equivalent experience.
• You have at-least 5 to 7 years’ experience working within a Civil Engineering firm or a Software Engineering environment.
• You have at-least 5 years’ experience working in a project or program management position.
• You have experience working in a technical client-facing position.
• You have experience working across multiple teams for projects or programs.
• You are comfortable with and have experience delivering technical reports.

Bonuses:

• You have experience with the complexities and faucets of transportation safety.
• You have experience managing transportation safety projects.
• You have experience working directly with software development teams.
• You have experience leading small teams.
