ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:
We currently are seeking a VP, Corporate Marketing at our head office in Richmond, BC.

The VP, Corporate Marketing is responsible for the stewardship of the corporate marketing initiatives and strategies, brand development and integrity, and aligning corporate communications and messaging.  Within a matrix organizational structure, the VP, Corporate Marketing works in tandem with strategic partners in Civil Transportation and Aviation Business Units, and across three global regions, Americas, EMEA, and Asia Pacific, to deliver a harmonized marketing program that meets the company’s short and long-term strategic plan.

Well-versed in the execution of modern marketing applications, the VP, Corporate Marketing is a transformational leader with strong business acumen, is data driven, customer-centric, entrepreneurial,  intuitive and displays an innate ability to build collaboration across business units, global regions, and functional supporting departments.

Key Accountabilities:

The VP, Corporate Marketing is accountable for the delivery of corporate marketing services throughout the organization by leading and guiding innovation, and providing strategic vision and stewardship in product strategies, market intelligence, lead generation, and brand engagement.  Specifically, areas of focus include;

  • Branding and corporate messaging
  • Customer insight, market intelligence and segmentation
  • Facilitating Business Unit Go-to-Market strategy plan development
  • Thought leadership; content strategy and development
  • User experience and support product development, packaging and positioning

Branding: Stewardship and nurturing the brand value to ensure continued strategic fit within the long-term strategy in concert with acquisitions and/or partnership, and source potential synergies opportunities with potential and future customers.

  • Formulate and shepherd marketing strategy that aligns the Transoft brand on a global basis that enables market opportunity, customer insights, value proposition, product packaging, and sales strategy.
  • Maintain corporate-wide thought leadership and content marketing strategy. Maximize positive exposure in national and global markets.
  • Work with internal business leaders and colleagues to create engaging and global customer experience by ensuring consistent brand voice throughout the entire customer lifecycle.
  • Guide and facilitate internal leaders on global marketing communications, including social media, press releases, website, and product interfaces that fall within the branding guideline.

Customer Insight & Market Intelligence: Assist and guide regional and BUs in the collection of customer insights and market intelligence through primary and secondary sources (focus groups, industry reports, etc.) to:

Thought Leadership & Content Strategy:

  • Develop global content strategy across all media platforms to position Transoft as the technology market leader and own the conversation.
  • Enable platforms for the efficient processes for creating, maintaining, curating, and editing content for multiple media outlets and applications that includes articles, case studies, webinars, whitepapers, social media and senior executive positioned/on panel at key industry events.
  • Strategic partnerships/collaboration of content development to educate customers, partners, agencies, media, analysts. on the value and elevate Transoft’s brand awareness.

Sales Enablement:

  • In collaboration with BU/regional marketing teams, support the building of a market driven differentiated strategy based on a customer segment journey-based approach.
  • Achieve greater collaboration between the sales and marketing disciplines, driving clearer priorities, quick wins and improved response times through customer relationship management and marketing automation integration.
  • Facilitate the development and maintenance of a global sales toolkit; enable consistency of message and accessibility of material.

You not only have the experience, drive and creativity to lead and steer corporate marketing, your 15 plus years of progressive experience and advanced education, has provided you with a strong business acumen.  You understand how to create synergies and value for partners, stakeholders and employees; supporting the building of the topline while conscientious of the bottom.
