From September 22-25, we had the privilege of participating in the 2024 TAC Conference, Canada’s premier transportation event held in Vancouver. This gathering brought together over 1,400 transportation professionals and industry leaders from across North America, providing an invaluable platform for networking and knowledge sharing.
Key Highlights
Our booth at the conference was a hub of activity, attracting visitors eager to learn more about our comprehensive suite of traffic engineering and management solutions. One of the highlights this year was the introduction of our Race to Zero game, an interactive experience designed to demonstrate the power of our technology in detecting and preventing traffic accidents.
In the Race to Zero, participants competed to complete 15 laps around a simulated track in the shortest time with the fewest safety demerits. Participants raced against the clock, aiming to complete 15 laps around the Transoft Track while minimizing safety demerits. The excitement was palpable as competitors demonstrated their driving skills while keeping in mind, the importance of road safety.
The Race to Zero game provided a hands-on experience showcasing the practical applications of TrafxSAFE platform (now known as VERALYTIX). Through the game, participants learned about the platform’s ability to detect near-misses and violations, improve road safety, enhance traffic management, and inform data-driven decision-making.
