American Disability Act (ADA) Curb Ramps
With American Disability Act (ADA) regulations requiring all curb ramps to adhere to compliance standards for safer wheelchair accessibility, the reconfiguration of existing wheelchair ramps across the country is expected to be decades in the making.
Thanks to cutting-edge CAD-based technology, the painstaking and time-consuming manual method of evaluating and redesigning curb ramps can be significantly reduced by automating the design process in 3D.

Bike Simulation for Bike Path Design
With more cities adopting a ‘complete streets’ transportation policy, redesigning streets to include bicycle-friendly routes are an important scope of these projects. Some of the challenges when designing safe bike paths include complex intersections, stretches involving S-turns and directional changes, moving around barriers that provide safe separation from motor vehicles, as well as obstacle clearance from objects on roads and sidewalks.
See our presentation on Transoft’s innovative bicycle simulation application in the upcoming release of AutoTURN Pro, that helps road designers ensure that different types of bikes have sufficient space and are able to use the infrastructure safely.
