The Regional Municipality of Durham in Ontario, Canada partnered with Transoft Solutions and True North Safety Group (TNS) to undertake an In-Service Road Safety Review at a total of six high-volume suburban intersections across the Region.
In this session we will explore the methodology and tools used to conduct these studies, including, conflict analysis data, vehicular speed data, and traffic volumes collected using Transoft Solutions’ automated road safety solution, BriskLUMINA. We will also discuss how key findings from the surrogate safety and video outputs impacted the recommended treatments offered by TNS
