It’s been a busy and insightful few months connecting with customers and industry peers at recent aviation events. From next-gen airport innovations to sustainable air traffic management, we’ve had many engaging conversations and gained a deeper understanding of our users’ needs. Catch up on what we’ve been up to and our key takeaways below.
French User Day | Nice
A full day dedicated to airside innovation: insights, use cases, and co-creation
Transoft Solutions had the pleasure of hosting a user day at Nice Airport, bringing together users, industry experts, and partners around a shared goal: to exchange, learn, and shape the future of airside operations together.
The day was structured around several key highlights:
- Product updates (AviPLAN, SkySAFE, AeroSTRIPE, AeroCENTRAL, and AirTOP) to present the latest features and gather feedback based on real-world use.
- Inspiring use cases, including SETEC International’s work on MARS stand design for Nice Airport Terminal 2.3, and a pilot project at Lille Airport.
- Interactive workshops, addressing topics such as pavement markings, obstacle analysis, and digitalized airside inspections.
- Open and honest discussions about current needs, limitations, best practices, and future development opportunities.
A co-creation approach driven by users
Beyond presentations, it was the collaborative nature of the day that made it especially valuable: field insights directly informed product thinking, and several concrete ideas for improvement emerged throughout the sessions.
Key takeaways from the day will help shape our product roadmaps, future and collaborative initiatives, and of course opportunities to meet again.
We would like to warmly thank all participants for their openness, expertise, and active engagement. This collaborative approach is essential for developing solutions that truly meet the operational challenges faced by airports and consultants.
ASPAG | Brussels
Transoft participated in the May 2025 Airside Simulation and Performance Assessment Group (ASPAG) meeting at EUROCONTROL’s headquarters in Brussels. We presented new functionalities in AirTOP and saw first-hand the developments of the Aviation Intelligence Portal and the CCPM (Continuous Capacity and Performance Monitoring) application of EUROCONTROL, as well as visiting the new Network Manager Operations Centre (NMOC). As always, it was a great opportunity to connect with aviation professionals and organizations working to improve airside efficiency and performance.
Airspace World 2025 | Lisbon
Airspace World 2025, on May 13 – 15 May is a key global event focused on shaping the future of airspace. Hosted by CANSO (Civil Air Navigation Services Organisation), the event brings together decision-makers, industry leaders, and innovators from across aviation sectors.
The event highlighted the growing role of tech in aviation, from AI and machine learning to real-time data analytics. We saw a clear push for collaboration between stakeholders, especially around improving air traffic management and sustainability.
The Transoft Aviation Team at Airspace World 2025
One key takeaway was the demand for scalable, secure solutions that can handle the complexity of modern airspace, especially with the rise of autonomous systems. The event reinforced that the future of aviation will rely heavily on innovative solutions to drive efficiency, safety, and sustainability.
It was a fantastic opportunity to connect with a diverse range of companies, from industry giants to innovative startups. We thoroughly enjoyed engaging in conversations with potential clients, exchanging ideas, and learning about the challenges and opportunities shaping the future of aviation. The event was not just about showcasing our solutions, but also about building meaningful relationships and gaining insights that will help us continue to innovate and grow.
Passenger Terminal Expo 2025 | Madrid
From April 8 – 10, Transoft Solutions exhibited at the Passenger Terminal Expo 2025 in Madrid, one of the leading events in the aviation industry. The expo brought together experts and innovators from around the globe, and our team was pleased to be part of the experience and enjoyed engaging with visitors and exhibitors.
We were especially interested to hear about the latest next-gen airport projects, gaining valuable insights into cutting-edge innovations designed to improve efficiency, safety, and the overall passenger experience worldwide. It was also a great opportunity to connect with our software users across our whole product range and exchange ideas. We also had insightful conversations about future opportunities and product development with colleagues from our different Transoft offices in Europe.
We look forward to meeting again next year in London!
